Accounts Senior

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 35 hours per week (flex time) Core Hours: 10-4

Our client, a dynamic multi-disciplinary accountancy and business advisory practice operating from offices in London and Guildford, are looking for an Accounts Senior who will be based in Guildford.

This job is based in the Guildford office currently 2 days per week and 3 days working from home. This may however change in the future.

The role offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients in various sectors ranging from large technology companies involved in bioscience and games and apps, to sole traders involved in consultancy work and hospitality.Many clients are entrepreneurial companies requiring business advice on setting up in the UK.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Education to degree level or equivalent

  • ACCA/ACA qualified

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

  • Good level of knowledge of accounting standards essential

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience of working on consolidated and Charities’ accounts desirable

  • Experience of CCH Accounts Production, and Xero Software desirable

  • Good IT knowledge and skills, particularly Excel
