Lettings Manager

Role: Lettings Manager (Central/East London)

Location: Stratford, London

Salary: £20,000 to £26,000 basic D.O.E + Commission, bonus and £3K car allowance

Hours: 8:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday (Half day on Saturdays – 5 and a half day week)

Our client, a well established estate agency based in Stratford, currently has a vacancy for a Lettings Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arranging and carrying out valuations in order to gain new instructions.
• Increasing overall profit margins.
• Overseeing and increasing our managed property portfolio via marketing.
• Final move in checks.
• Overseeing converting Let Only landlords to Fully Managed landlords.
• Tenant referencing and Right To Rent checks.
• Liaising with applicants and Rent4sure during the referencing process.
• Informing landlords and tenants of the reference outcome.
• Writing to applicants within 7 days of retaining the holding deposit.
• Creating invoices for retaining holding deposits.
• Serving of legal notices.
• Receiving and dealing with notices from tenants.
• Administering petty cash.
• Arranging staff meetings.
• Reporting to the Director on a daily basis as well as end of the month reporting.

To be considered for the role you will have:

• Previous experience in Sales and Lettings
• IT Proficiency including experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong people management skills
• Full UK drivers license and own car
