Our valued client are currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Van Sales Executive to join their very successful site in London.
You will deliver exceptional customer service as you contact existing and passive customers, maintaining an open customer file in order to maximise sales leads and ultimately convert to sales. You will be a product expert who can comfortably hold in depth sales discussions with prospective customers – providing information and advice on not only vehicles, equipment and accessories, but also our finance, insurance and ancillary products (e.g. service packages).
The way you conduct yourself during these discussions is critical to your success. Maintaining an exceptional level of customer service will drive not only satisfaction but also long-term loyalty and retention
Your responsibilities as a Van Sales Executive will include:
Responsible for identifying new business and building lasting relationships with prospects within the area of influence and for the achievement of individual / company targets
To be responsible for the generation and fulfilment of corporate leads that will enable sufficient opportunity to achieve targets
To assist in out of hours company promotions to help the business achieve objectives such as involvement in sales events and sales launches /ride and drive type events/exhibitions
Monitor the progress of all sold orders to ensure that deadlines are met in respect of vehicle acquisition and preparation, that all necessary documentation has been prepared, including any body-builder agreements that are required to be in place
To ensure that within their area of operation all company and trade association’s policies, procedures and minimum standards are met and that all statutory requirements including trading standards, fire, health and safety are adhered to
Informing and advising customers on Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions and technical data
Well-targeted and continuous planning of acquisition of new customers.
Holding relevant material (brochures, catalogues, etc.) and ensuring availability of vehicles.
Carrying out market and target group analysis and compiling statistics
Explaining financing and leasing opportunities and insurances and concluding/arranging relevant contracts and comply to all FSA regulations
Concluding sales, negotiating terms (trade-ins, type and method of payment, method of vehicle transfer, etc.), if necessary obtaining agreements and drawing up the sales contract
Supervising all processes up to delivery
Handing over vehicle and introducing customer to the vehicle
Regularly recording customer satisfaction and initiating relevant measures, developing action plans where necessary to improve performance to meet retailer CSI and NPS targets
The ideal Van Sales Executive will be:
PC literate and numerate
Excellent presentation skills
Experience within the LCV industry – preferable, not essential
Shows initiative and works in an organised, structured and goal-orientated manner
Has a genuine passion for the delivery of first class customer service
