Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Salary:Basic salary of £25,000 to £28,000+ Depending on Skills/Experience OTE £35,000
Hours:Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5.00pm 1 in 3 Saturdays 08.30 to 12pm
An established and well respected automotive Dealership are expanding based in Brentford and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team.
About the Role:
As a Vehicle Technician, you will undertake a wide range of repairs, servicing and preparation of vehicles, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair ensuring all work is completed safely. Daily tasks include
Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work
Repairing or replacing components as required
Road testing vehicles to test repair work
Performing service checks
Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, as required
Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
MOT Qualified Preferred, but not essential
Knowledge of electronic VLC's and video capture is desirable
Full and driving licence
Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within an established workshop.
Ability to achieve high productivity and efficiency
A high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
Team player with a willingness to help and support
Self-motivated and customer focused
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to deliver customer distinction at all times
